Leading Salvage Auto Auction Company Opens New Facility in Fayetteville, AR and Relocates Anchorage, AK Site

WESTCHESTER, Ill., Dec. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. (IAA), the leading live and live-online salvage auto auction company and wholly-owned subsidiary of KAR Auction Services, Inc. (NYSE: KAR), today announced the opening of a new facility in Fayetteville, AR (commonly known as "Northwest Arkansas"), and the relocation of its Anchorage, AK site to a larger facility in the region. These actions significantly increase IAA's capacity and further demonstrate the company's strategic vision of an expansive footprint of more than 160 locations throughout North America.

"These moves further expand and improve IAA's capacity to service two growing regions," said Tom O'Brien, chief executive officer of Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. "IAA is committed to strategic moves in areas across North America where there is strong customer demand. We've seen significant growth in Arkansas and Alaska and these moves offer more locations for providers to sell their vehicles, resulting in more cars on which domestic and international buyers can bid."

IAA's new live and live-online auction facility in Fayetteville is located at 2801 E Pridemore Dr. in Lincoln, AR.  The facility will be approximately 10 acres, with an additional five acres for future development.
