NEW YORK, Dec. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SiriusXM announced today that it will broadcast live concerts, DJ sets and special performances on New Year's Eve.

SiriusXM listeners will hear concert broadcasts from across America with a wide-ranging lineup including Pitbull from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL (20 on 20 channel 3, La Mezcla channel 148); Willie Nelson from Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, TX (Willie's Roadhouse, channel 56); Gregg Allman at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, FL (Deep Tracks, channel 27); Widespread Panic at Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA (Jam_On, channel 29); Flaming Lips from Belly Up in Aspen in Aspen, CO (Jam_On, channel 29);  Hank Williams Jr. from the Music City New Year's Eve Bash in Nashville, TN (Prime Country, 58), Alt Nation, channel 36, will air a Capital Cities performance from The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA; The Pulse, channel 15, will broadcast performances from the "Live in the Vineyard Concert" featuring performances by Gavin DeGraw, Five For Fighting, Christina Perri and American Authors; and SiriusXMU channel 35, will air Arcade Fire's concert held at a secret warehouse in Brooklyn, New York.

SiriusXM's New Year's Eve lineup will also include live DJ sets by internationally-renowned DJs. SiriusXM listeners will hear Cedric Gervais, R3hab, Sander van Doorn, Showtek and Tommy Trash live from Pier 36 in New York (Electric Area, channel 52); Borgore & Carnage from Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles (Electric Area, channel 52); Eric Prydz from Echostage in Washington, DC (BPM, channel 51). Electric Area will also broadcast a DJ set by Steve Aoki recorded live from Belly Up in Aspen, CO.

SiriusXM will also launch 5 limited-run party music channels on New Year's Eve.
