AltaCorp Capital and ATB Corporate Financial Services host 2nd Annual Institutional Investor Conference

BIOGY

Conference to focus on Energy Services, Diversified Industries and Agriculture sectors

CALGARY and TORONTO, Jan. 8, 2014 /CNW/ - AltaCorp Capital and ATB Corporate Financial Services are hosting a three-day institutional investor conference from January 14-16, 2014, focusing on their coverage of Energy Services, Diversified Industries and Agriculture sectors. This second annual event will take place at the Shangri-La Hotel in Toronto (188 University Avenue). Senior management from almost 40 Canadian-based public companies will be appearing. Many companies have global operations. A number of private companies in the sector will also be attending the conference both as panelists and observers.

Through moderated thematic panels, investors and presenting companies will have the opportunity to discuss and gain information on current and arising issues within the following Energy Service subsectors: Contract Drilling, Service Rigs/Coiled Tubing/Snubbing, Directional Drilling / Rig Instrumentation, Fraccing, Global Natural Gas & Infrastructure, Camps & Accommodations and Oilfield Rentals.

The looming rise of LNG in Western Canada is enlivening the entire Energy Services space.  Select companies within the Diversified Industries and Agriculture sectors will also be presenting individually.  Institutional investors will be able to meet directly with participating corporate presenters in one-on-one meetings scheduled throughout all three days.

George Gosbee, Chairman and CEO of AltaCorp Capital, and Ian Wild, Executive Vice President of ATB Corporate Financial Services, are pleased to announce this joint initiative highlighting both firms' breadth of experience as they continue to build on the success of last year's heavily-attended conference.

There will be a keynote luncheon presentation by Joseph M. Terranova, Chief Market Strategist for Virtus Investment Partners and a regular CNBC contributor, on Thursday, January 16th.
