Navios Maritime Partners L.P Announces Delivery of One Newbuilding Ultra-Handymax Vessel

MONACO--(Marketwired - Jan 9, 2014) - Navios Maritime Partners L.P. ("Navios Partners") (NYSE: NMM), an owner and operator of dry cargo vessels, announced today that the Navios La Paix, a newbuilding ultra-handymax vessel of 61,485 dwt, was delivered to Navios Partners' owned fleet on January 7, 2014.

The Navios La Paix has been chartered out to a quality counterparty for about two years based on the Supramax time charter Index plus 10%, with a minimum rate of $10,000 per day.

Fleet Update
Following the delivery of the Navios La Paix, Navios Partners has 29 vessels in the water.

Navios Partners has contracted 67.5% of its available days on a charter-out basis for 2014.
