Hub Group Appoints Catherine Kozik As New CIO

Technology Veteran to Lead all IT-Related Activities

OAK BROOK, Ill., Jan. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Hub Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: HUBG), a leading provider of comprehensive intermodal, truck brokerage and logistics services, announced today the appointment of Catherine Kozik to Chief Information Officer (CIO).  She will report to Hub Group CEO David Yeager and will join the Hub Group Leadership Team.

Ms. Kozik brings 30 years of leadership and technical expertise to Hub Group, having most recently served ten years at Motorola.  For the past several years she was the Corporate Vice President of Global Solutions and Services Operations leading the Solutions Support Centers and Systems Integration. Prior to this role, Cathie led an organization of 800+ information technology professionals supporting operations in 300 locations worldwide. She played an integral role in the organization's transformation from product-led to solutions-led business and the successful IT separation of Motorola Inc. into two publicly traded companies.

Prior to joining Motorola, Ms. Kozik was the CIO and Senior Vice President of Tellabs' Global Information Systems. As CIO, she was responsible for managing the IT division that served Tellabs' business operations in more than 80 countries. In her ten years with Tellabs, Ms. Kozik also held management positions in engineering and participated in the acquisition process. Prior to joining Tellabs, she spent 10 years with AT&T serving in positions in both customer support and development for various divisions.

Ms. Kozik received her bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University in 1982, and her master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago in 1987.  In 2002, Ms. Kozik was named an Outstanding Electrical and Computer Engineer by Purdue University. She was also named one of Computerworld's Premier 100 CIO's and "Ones to Watch" by CIO Magazine. Ms Kozik is also on the Board of Directors for Cadence Health System.
