Today at Citrix Summit™, Citrix announced the recipients of the Citrix
Service Provider partner awards presented at an event on January 13,
2014 in Orlando. The Citrix selected winners are in three categories: nGenx
for Partner Visionary, mindSHIFT
for Marketing Excellence and Softcat
UK for the Distributor award. The awards recognize the 2013
achievements of Citrix Service Provider partners.
“The Citrix Service Provider program awards are a culmination of a
tremendous year of growth for our hosted partner program, which was
established in 2009. There were multiple nominations from excellent
candidates, and it was a very difficult choice to narrow the finalists
to three top providers in each category. Congratulations to nGenx,
mindSHIFT and Softcat for their outstanding achievements and their
efforts in making 2013 a record year for growth in the service provider
market with apps, desktops and data as a service,” said Tom Flink, vice
president, Channels and Market Development Sales at Citrix.
Partner Visionary Award Highlights
Nominees in the Partner Visionary category demonstrated outstanding
vision and thought leadership, contributed to the Citrix Service
Provider reference architecture, and ultimately expanded the adoption of
Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) in 2013. With a ground-up approach to DaaS
and application hosting, the Partner Visionary award winner, nGenX, has
a specialized focus that results in both high customer satisfaction and
revenue growth. nGenx rounds out its business with a highly-certified
technical staff, three Citrix Technology Professionals (CTPs), a unique
approach to integrating multi-vendor solutions, active work with
Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS public clouds and a three-tiered
white-label hosting service.
Marketing Excellence Award Highlights
Citrix Service Provider partners in this category have successfully
built a unique market focus and innovatively driven execution, demand
generation, external communication activities and customer satisfaction.
mindSHIFT, one of the largest IT outsourcing and cloud services
providers serving small and mid-size businesses, received the award
because of its comprehensive approach to marketing programs and
messaging DaaS for SMB customer needs. mindSHIFT closely targets
marketing messages with overall customer business goals.
Distributor Award Highlights
In 2013, Citrix Service Provider program distributors took a much more
active role in educating Microsoft Service Provider License Agreement
(SPLA) partners about the opportunity to incorporate Citrix DaaS
technologies into established managed services businesses. The
distributor award winner, Softcat UK, focused on driving a significant
number of new partners to the Citrix Service Provider program last year,
as well as expanding the diversity of Citrix products selected by its
service provider partners.
