Group”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement
with Pythagoras Academy to become its exclusive global recruitment
agent. CIBT Group’s recruitment subsidiary, Global Education Alliance
(“GEA”), will utilize its network of agents in 18 countries to identify,
pre-screen and recruit international students from around the world to
attend Pythagoras Academy in Greater Vancouver, Canada.
Pythagoras Academy is an elite Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 7 elementary
school certified by the British Columbia Ministry of Education and
located in Richmond, British Columbia. It is an independent,
non-religious and co-educational school with a focus on talented young
children with a special interest in fine arts and music. Under the terms
of the agreement, CIBT Group will assist Pythagoras Academy with
marketing, promotion and student recruitment services, drawing upon CIBT
Group’s 21 years of experience in the global education sector,
infrastructure and referral network to promote and recruit students to
attend Pythagoras Academy.
Established in 2012, GEA has successfully assisted a number of elite
schools with their recruitment needs. GEA has worked with Mulgrave
School and Southpointe Academy, and both schools achieved their
recruitment goal of reaching full capacity within a year. In 2013, both
of these schools were ranked as the number 1 primary school in British
Columbia by Fraser Institute. GEA continues to provide recruitment
solutions for various elite primary, secondary and post-secondary
schools across North America and is actively expanding its partnership
alliance.
