Nova Scotia Power (TSX: NSI.PR.D) announced today that Sandra Greer,
former president and CEO of AMIRIX Systems Inc., is joining its Board of
Directors.

our customers through her work with well-known Nova Scotia
organizations,” said Jim Eisenhauer, Chair of the NS Power Board. “We
look forward to her contributions as the newest member of the NS Power
board.”
At Halifax-based AMIRIX Systems Inc., Ms. Greer’s vision and leadership
helped the company triple its revenue and more than double its number of
employees, transforming it from a modest research and development
business to a successful company with sales and operations throughout
the world. Prior to that, Ms. Greer held various leadership roles with
companies including The Bristol Group, MTT/Aliant and General Motors of
Canada.
Ms. Greer has a long history of involvement in prominent boards and
organizations, including, Acadia University, AMIRIX Systems Inc., Canada
Foundation for Innovation Members Board, Nova Scotia Community College
(NSCC), YMCA, Industrial Expansion Fund (IEF) Advisory Panel and
Discovery Centre.
