North American Palladium Ltd. ("NAP" or the "Company") (TSX:PDL)(NYSE MKT:PAL) is pleased to announce that it has sold an additional $4.5 million in convertible debentures in connection with its first tranche offering (the "First Tranche") of 7.5% convertible unsecured subordinated debentures and associated warrants, as disclosed by news release on January 31, 2014. As per the Company's initial target for the First Tranche offering, the aggregate gross proceeds are now $32 million.
The exercise of the warrants issued in the First Tranche is subject to disinterested shareholder approval. The Company expects to hold a shareholder meeting on March 20, 2014 in Toronto to obtain such approval.
