Marcus®
Hotels & Resorts, a division of The
Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS), today announced that four of its
owned and managed properties have again received the AAA Four Diamond
Award rating in 2014.
The
Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, Wis., remains one of only 12 hotels in
North America that have maintained AAA Four Diamond status for 38
consecutive years since the Diamond Ratings were first introduced in
1976. The Grand
Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wis. maintained AAA
Four Diamond status for 17 consecutive years; the Skirvin
Hilton in Oklahoma City, Okla. received the rating for the eighth
consecutive year and the Hilton
Milwaukee in Milwaukee, Wis. received the rating for the fourth
consecutive year. Less than four percent of 59,000 AAA Approved hotels
and restaurants receive this rating.
The Pfister Hotel, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, Skirvin Hilton and Hilton
Milwaukee are part of a select group of establishments within North
America. Currently, just 1,548 hotels and 729 restaurants hold the AAA
Four Diamond Rating. Hotels at this level are committed to providing
every guest with a personalized experience and attentive service in
comfortable, high-quality surroundings, according to AAA. They typically
offer an extensive array of amenities and guest services.
“We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional environment for our
guests, from our features and amenities to the high quality service our
guests have come to expect,” said Thomas F. Kissinger, interim
president, Marcus Hotels & Resorts and senior executive vice president,
The Marcus Corporation. “The AAA Four Diamond Award rating is a
testament to the hard work and dedication of our associates in making
every guest’s experience extraordinary.”
“AAA is delighted to recognize The Pfister Hotel, Grand Geneva Resort &
Spa, Skirvin Hilton and Hilton Milwaukee as Four Diamond hotels,” said
Michael Petrone, director of AAA Tourism Information Development. “To
maintain the exceptional standards required for this rating on a daily
basis is an outstanding achievement. AAA Four Diamond establishments are
attentive to guests’ needs and consistently deliver memorable travel and
dining experiences.”
