The All-Star edition of THE AMAZING RACE, featuring 11 returning fan
favorite teams in pursuit of the $1 million prize, premiered on Feb. 23
with new weekly episodes airing every Sunday (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on
CBS. THE AMAZING RACE is hosted by Phil Keoghan. The 28th edition
of SURVIVOR, the longest-running reality competition series, hosted by
Jeff Probst, premiered on Feb. 26 with new weekly episodes airing every
Wednesday (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on CBS.
About THE AMAZING RACE:
THE AMAZING RACE sends 11 teams on a trek around the world. Each Team is
comprised of two people who have a pre-existing relationship with one
another. At every destination, each Team competes in a series of
challenges — some mental and some physical — and when the tasks have
been completed, they learn their next destination. Teams who are
farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses,
with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning at least
$1 million. Jerry Bruckheimer, Bertram van Munster, Jonathan Littman,
Elise Doganieri and Mark Vertullo are the executive producers for Jerry
Bruckheimer Television and Earthview Inc. in association with ABC
Studios and Amazing Race Productions. THE AMAZING RACE was created by
Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri.
About SURVIVOR:
Eighteen castaways will compete against each other on SURVIVOR for a $1
million prize, when the Emmy Award-winning series returns on Wednesdays
on CBS Television Network. This edition of SURVIVOR, filmed in Cagayan,
a province in the Philippines, will be themed “Brawn vs. Brains vs.
Beauty.” The groupings of these tribes, each comprised of six castaways,
reflect the distinguishing qualities that people bring to the game and
test whether there is any truth to the pre-conceived notion that certain
characteristics will help you win the game of SURVIVOR. All castaways
will compete to outwit, outplay, outlast and ultimately be crowned Sole
Survivor. The show is hosted by Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst.
