REGINA, March 12, 2014 /CNW/ - President's Choice® Children's Charity is pleased to announce that its Your Small Change Can Make a Big One campaign has raised more than $65K, thanks to the generosity of
customers and employees at Loblaw banners stores -- Real Canadian Superstore®, Real Canadian Wholesale Club®, Extra Foods® and nofrills®, across Saskatchewan.
All money raised will go toward nutrition programs aimed at fighting
childhood hunger and families whose children have physical or
developmental disabilities in Saskatchewan. Nationally, Loblaw banner
grocery store customers donated more than $2.4 million as part of the
Spring 2014 campaign.
"President's Choice® Children's Charity is committed to helping kids across Canada live life
well. Through our grants for disability and donations to programs that
fight childhood hunger, we want to help as many children as possible -
ultimately having a positive impact on the next generation of
Canadians," said Steve Strive, member of President's Choice® Children's Charity Board of Directors.

In 2013, the President's Choice® Children's Charity proudly granted $433,860 to 38 families and 129
nutrition programs, which feed over 22,385 children in Saskatchewan.
Since 1989, the Charity has awarded $100 million, supporting more than
1.3 million children across Canada.
