AVT Featured on "Money for Lunch" Radio Program

"AVT is the company behind some of the most innovative machines in the world"

CORONA, Calif., March 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- AVT, Inc. (OTC Markets: AVTC) (www.autoretail.com), a leader in custom vending machines and automated retailing systems was featured on the "Money for Lunch" Radio Program, hosted by Bert Martinez.

The host commented on AVT's success and longevity. "You've been doing this for 14 years, you've had some consistent growth. What makes your company different?" Martinez asked Shannon Illingworth, Founder and Chairman of AVT.

"We are not just a manufacturer - we are a technology company, a software company, and a design integrator," Illingworth replied. "We create solutions and are well diversified."

The host mentioned the Rug Doctor system - the world's first automated carpet cleaning rental kiosk. "Rug Doctor wanted a self-service platform to provide customers with greater convenience," Illingworth said about the systems that are now in Walmart stores nationwide. "We've revolutionized their business and their industry."

Martinez asked about the business opportunity with Marley Coffee kiosks. "Marley is such an exciting brand," Illingworth commented. "We created a kiosk that provides the same quality premium coffee as Starbucks, but is much more convenient, so you can get your coffee and run," Illingworth said.

The new Marley machines feature Android technology, remote management capabilities, and can brew up to 15 premium blends through an interactive touchscreen. "If you've seen them, they're amazing," Illingworth said.

The subject shifted to the rapidly growing marijuana industry. "Investors are talking about your company in relation to marijuana," Martinez stated.

Illingworth explained that AVT helped develop several systems for Medbox, one of the fastest growing companies in the marijuana and pharmaceutical sectors. "Medbox has transformed the industry with this innovative system, which vastly improves compliance, transparency, and security."

Asked about the outlook for 2014, Illingworth stated that the focus last year was partnering with great brands, and that this year they are focusing on company-owned units. "We've designed some great systems for other prominent companies and large retailers, but now we want to own some of our own systems and generate that continuous income stream," he said. "We think that this is going to grow fairly quickly and provide the company with ongoing revenue for steady growth."
