AHIP President and CEO, Rob O'Neill, to speak as closing panelist at the 26th Annual Hunter Hotel Investment Conference in Atlanta

VANCOUVER, March 20, 2014 /CNW/ - American Hotel Income Properties REIT LP ("AHIP") (TSX: HOT.UN; OTCQX: AHOTF) announced today that Rob O'Neill, Chief Executive Officer will be speaking as a closing panelist at the 26th Annual Hunter Hotel Investment Conference in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday March 28, 2014.

The Hunter Hotel Investment Conference is considered one of the top four hotel investment conferences in North America. It is regarded as a source of timely information from knowledgeable and experienced industry leaders for lodging dealmakers.

The subject of the closing panel discussion is described by conference organizers as, "A panel of industry leaders discuss how to take advantage of today's market" and will cover a broad range of issues relating to lodging investments in current market conditions. The session will be held on Friday March 28, 2014 at 12:30 pm EST.

The panel will be moderated by W. Michael Murphy, Independent Director for AHIP and head of Lodging and Leisure Capital at First Fidelity Companies in Atlanta. Dan Miller, AHIP's Chief Investment Officer, will also attending the conference.
