LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Mar 27, 2014) - Cytta Corp. (OTCQB: CYCA) is pleased to announce the expansion of its open source remote connectivity platform into the Oil & Gas (O&G) Industry. Cytta has agreed to immediately introduce its remote monitoring connectivity technology to the segment, due to strong demand for real time monitoring coming from the rapidly growing US O&G Industry.
Cytta's Special Purpose Network and mobile device solution for use by the healthcare industry was ubiquitously designed for remotely monitoring data regardless of the source. Accordingly, the monitoring of remote data from the remote Well Site is only another use case for the Cytta Connect platform.
Cytta's seamless integration of cellular, WiFi and satellite communication systems provide a global, low cost solution for all types of remote monitoring. It is a natural progression to move our core technology and offer other industries our affordable, highly scalable and secure monitoring platform.
In conjunction with announcing Cytta's service offerings to the O&G industry, Cytta Corp. has signed entered into working Agreement with MachLink Corp. (www.machlink.ca). MachLink Corp. is synonymous with protecting rural environments and its founder and CEO Fred Munn has occupied a significant position in the wireless broadband and security monitoring of the Oil and Gas space for the past decade. Similar to Cytta's partnership programs in healthcare, Cytta is offering its open platform to Oil & Gas service and equipment providers. "We believe in open collaboration and MachLink's current focus on commercial oil & gas clients utilizing leading edge communication and patented wireless imaging and data technologies provides a significant opportunity for Cytta Oil & Gas and MachLink to integrate our capabilities and offer unique world class M2M solutions to an already developed client base," stated Erik Stephansen, President of Cytta Corp.
Mr. Stephansen added, "By utilizing Cytta's technologies such as data compression and open source cellular and satellite networks to provide O&G connectivity solutions, we naturally expand our world class remote monitoring offerings, which is part of Cytta's global go-forward strategy. In addition, we are also very excited by the experienced people and exciting business partners we're attracting to join us in this O&G effort."
Mr. Stuart Brame recently joined Cytta Corp to lead Cytta's Oil & Gas remote monitoring programs. Mr. Brame was previously VP of International Marketing for MachLink Corp. and brings to the company a wealth of experience in Oil & Gas and business development segment. He was integrally involved with the technologies that MachLink offers in the marketplace while situated in the Alberta Oil Sands area of Canada.
"O&G projects are often located in very challenging areas of the US & elsewhere, and Cytta's recent advances in technology will help overcome the industry challenges found in such remote and harsh environments," Mr. Brame noted with emphasis. "By providing solutions which are configured to each client's situational environment, we are able to seamlessly integrate data from multiple sources by adding Cytta's connectivity solutions and expand the reach and capabilities of MachLink's products in the O&G industry. This is a win-win for both Companies and for our industry customers relying on technological innovation," stated Mr. Brame.
Cytta and MachLink are advancing the implementation and development of an automatic data communication technology in support of each other. Utilizing the Cytta mobile connectivity solutions to expand and enhance the leading edge technologies being offered and developed by MachLink and Cytta Labs will streamline a suite of connectivity solutions and provide greater access to critical information at significantly less cost and effort.
