UPI Reports: "Go to the University of Southern California for the Education, Stay for the Burritobox"

AVT-built system is the hottest development in the industry in years

CORONA, Calif., March 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- AVT, Inc. (OTC Markets: AVTC) (www.autoretail.com), a leader in custom vending machines and automated retailing systems announced today that one of the Burritobox kiosks the company built for their client, The Box Brands, opened at the University of Southern California, making it the first campus in the nation to host the famed vending machine.

"We thought it was an amazing opportunity to bring fresh product to the campus for the students that have late night munchies," said Kris Klinger, director of USC Hospitality.

The orange, touch-screen machine has been making headlines across the nation as the world's first burrito kiosk, and offers a choice of five $3 burritos, which are hormone- and antibiotic-free, and available 24-hours a day.

"It's like the Redbox for Burritos"

The USC Hospitality team thought the system was interesting, and visited the first Burritobox location in West Hollywood to check out the kiosk and see what others thought of the product.

"We like to be first in a lot of different things and this is another opportunity to do that," Klinger said. "It also fits perfectly with what our students are looking for, and the food is great, so it works well."

Now the Burritobox is already a hit on campus.

"As soon as I saw the Burritobox concept, I became excited. It's like the Redbox for burritos," said Michael Wratschko II, a first-year graduate student studying business administration.

Ray Hardjadinata, a graduate student studying business administration, noted that the new system will soon be a student favorite. "I have a feeling this is more than just a fad, and we will start to see many more Burritobox locations pop up, both on and off campus."

CBS Television in Los Angeles reports that more locations are being considered.
