As Federal and State Tax Deadlines Approach, Official Payments Makes Paying Taxes Quick, Safe and Secure

ACIW

As federal and state tax deadlines approach, ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading international provider of electronic payment and banking systems, offers taxpayers and tax professionals a fast, easy and secure way to pay federal and state income taxes electronically.

The process is as simple as going to ACI’s consumer payment portal, www.OfficialPayments.com, and making a secure online payment. Taxpayers can use the service to conveniently pay a variety of taxes, including personal income taxes, estimated quarterly taxes and business taxes. The service fee is tax deductible and taxpayers may earn rewards, or cash management benefits by paying with a credit or debit card. Official Payments (now part of ACI Worldwide) was the first electronic payment provider to be selected by the Internal Revenue Service and has been processing federal tax payments since 1999.

ACI customer payments that can be made through the Official Payments website include the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), 23 state governments, the District of Columbia, more than 3,000 local municipalities and counties across all 50 states, 350 colleges and universities, and 450 utility companies. Consumers can pay federal taxes using a credit or debit card online, over the phone or via mobile device.

State and local property taxes and other bills such as utilities and college tuition can be paid with credit cards, debit cards, electronic checks and alternative payment methods via mobile device, online at www.OfficialPayments.com, telephone, point of sale and other channels.
