(NYSE: SLF, TSX: SLF) announced today that more than 3,500 insurance brokers, human resource professionals and employers have registered to participate in its 2014 Sun Life Wake Up Summit on April 16 that will debate private health insurance exchanges and discuss the evolving employee benefits landscape.
The Sun Wake Up Life Summit will feature discussions with renowned health care and economic experts who hold diverse views on private exchanges. The Sun Life Summit will also feature Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner, authors of best-selling books Freakonomics and Super Freakonomics. They will deliver the keynote address on decision-making in a changing marketplace and apply their Freakonomics theories to the health benefits system.
