AudioEye and Bureau of Internet Accessibility Enter Into Partnership to Provide Accessibility Validation and Remediation Services

AEYE

EAST GREENWICH, RI and TUCSON, AZ--(Marketwired - Apr 21, 2014) - AudioEye Inc (OTCQB: AEYE) has formed a strategic partnership with the Bureau of Internet Accessibility ("BOIA") to provide publishers with validation and remediation services to promote fully accessible web environments according to best practices, thereby assuring compliance with the Communications & Video Accessibility Act (CVAA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

"This partnership further accelerates Audioeye's stated mission of working to improve the mobility, usability and accessibility of all Internet-based content by promoting and proliferating best practices, while simultaneously offering an enterprise-level solution to accessibility and compliance," stated Nathaniel Bradley, Chief Executive Officer of AudioEye, Inc. "Given its well-known expertise and tenure in this field, we consider the BOIA an ideal partner in this endeavor."

Founded in 2001, the BOIA's testing enables all organizations to understand how accessible their websites are to users with disabilities and other special requirements. The BOIA uses Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 (A/AA/AAA) as the baseline standards for accessibility testing. The AudioEye Audio Internet platform provides a seamless remediation solution according to these standards.

"It is inspiring to see companies and organizations committed to technology ensuring that Internet content is accessible to everyone," said Mark Shapiro, President of the Bureau of Internet Accessibility. "AudioEye's unique approach of enabling client-side technology to make content available to those with special needs is a natural complement to our website accessibility testing and suggested remediation services."

About The Bureau of Internet Accessibility

The Bureau of Internet Accessibility (BOIA) was established in 2001 as an advocacy group by Internet programmers who saw the need for a resource to support Internet accessibility initiatives and to scan websites for accessibility issues, while also providing guidance as to how to address these issues. In May 2013, the BOIA officially registered as Accessibility Now, Incorporated, a "C" corporation in Delaware. Please visit http://www.boia.org/ for more information.
