SPRINGFIELD, IL--(Marketwired - April 28, 2014) - Teacher Appreciation Week is just a week away and The Horace Mann Companies has already kicked off its "Teach It Forward" giveaway. Entries are being taken now, and from May 5 - 9, Horace Mann will randomly select an educator each day to receive a gift valued at $500, and then that educator will select another educator to surprise with a gift valued at $500.
"You've heard of the good deed campaign 'Pay It Forward,' this is our way of thanking teachers," says Horace Mann Social Media Director Kristi Hillyer. "Not only does a teacher get a chance to win our contest, but they also get the chance to feel great about helping make another teacher's day."
