Troy L. Kilpatrick Named Head of Wells Fargo Corporate Trust Services

WFC

Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) today announced that Troy Kilpatrick has been appointed head of Wells Fargo Corporate Trust Services, effective May 19th, 2014. Based in Charlotte, N.C., he will lead a team of more than 2,000 team members, based primarily in the U.S., who service $2.5 trillion in unpaid principal for their clients. Kilpatrick replaces Brian Bartlett, who recently retired from Wells Fargo, and will report to Julie Caperton, managing director and head of Wells Fargo Asset-Backed Finance and Corporate Trust Services.

“Troy has more than 15 years of industry experience and an impressive track record of achieving new business growth,” said Caperton. “I am excited to have him on my leadership team and know he will continue delivering outstanding service, managing risk and growing the business.”

Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Kilpatrick held various leadership roles at Bank of New York (BNY) Mellon Trust Company, a subsidiary of BNY Mellon, most recently serving as president and U.S. executive for the Corporate Trust group. Prior to leading the group, his leadership with BNY Corporate Trust included Managing Director of U.S. Municipal and Corporate Finance and head of Global Sales and Marketing.
