WEST ORANGE, N.J., May 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lincoln Educational Services Corporation (Nasdaq:LINC) (Lincoln) announced today that Paul E. Glaske notified the Company of his intention to retire from the Company's board of directors. Mr. Glaske will remain a member of the Company's board of directors until such time that his successor is appointed to ensure a successful transition.
"Paul's depth and range of knowledge and experience have served Lincoln exceptionally well throughout his tenure on the board of directors," said Alexis Michas, Lincoln's Non-Executive Chairman. "Paul's effectiveness as a board member comes in large part from his background as a former chief executive officer with extensive experience on the boards of numerous public and private companies, as well as from his deep knowledge and interest in education and in fields where Lincoln focuses its business. Paul's willingness to extend his tenure on the board so that it could benefit from his steady guidance through a time of heightened regulatory demands and a difficult environment shows his dedication to Lincoln and its employees, students and shareholders. On behalf of Lincoln's board of directors, I want to thank Paul for his loyal and skilled service to Lincoln."
"I want to thank Lincoln and my fellow board members for the opportunity to serve on the board of directors," said Mr. Glaske. "My time at Lincoln has been very rewarding, both professionally and personally, and I believe that I'm leaving the board at a time when Lincoln is extremely well positioned for future success, with a renewed focus and a very talented employee base."
