CYMAT Announces Fondazione Prada Cladding Award

TORONTO, May 13, 2014 /CNW/ - Today Cymat Technologies Ltd. (the "Company" or "Cymat") announced that Alusion^TM has been selected for cladding of the future headquarters and art centre for Fondazione Prada.  Located in Milan, Italy, the art centre was commissioned by Miuiccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli of the Prada design house. The facilities were designed by OMA led by Rem Koolhaas. Cymat will be supplying approximately 63,000 square feet of custom Alusion^TM panels for installation on exterior and interior surfaces.  Cymat has received a substantial deposit and is about to commence production for this project.  Delivery of these Alusion^TM panels is expected to be completed in the fall of 2014.  "We are excited to be working with an internationally renowned customer such as Prada," said Michael Liik, Cymat's Executive Chairman.  "We are also encouraged by the demonstration of Alusion's increased acceptance for external cladding applications and the signs of economic resurgence in the European Community."
