Michael F. Roman has been appointed executive vice president of 3M’s
Industrial Business Group, effective immediately. He replaces Brad T.
Sauer, who retires June 1.
Roman is currently senior vice president, Business Development. “Mike is
uniquely qualified to lead 3M’s largest business group,” said Inge
Thulin, 3M Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. “His deep
understanding of 3M’s corporate strategy and portfolio, combined with
his leadership success in the Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division,
will contribute greatly to the continued success of the Industrial
Business Group.”
Roman is a 25-year 3M veteran whose accomplishments include leading
multiple divisions and serving as managing director, 3M Korea.
Jon T. Lindekugel has been appointed senior vice president, Business
Development, replacing Roman, effective immediately. Lindekugel is
currently vice president and general manager, Health Information
Systems, and brings deep experience in 3M’s manufacturing and technical
areas, including success in the Health Care Business Group.
