DayStar announces change in Directors and announces new Chairman

KELOWNA, BC, May 27 2014 /CNW/ - DayStar Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS:DSTI) 

A board of director meeting was held whereas the following changes were made to the board of Directors of Daystar Technologies Inc.

1. Daniel Germain:  resigned as a director Feb, 24,2014
2. Daniel Giesbrecht:  Dan is currently the VP of business development for DayStar, has a depth of knowledge of the company's past and current status.  Mr. Giesbrecht will be instrumental in the forward looking direction. 
3. Derek Bannister:  with experience in business operations and real estate,  Mr. Bannister will bring a diverse business perspective to DayStar. 
4. Stephane Bertrand: resigns as a director March 25th, 2014

On May 17^th, 2014 Bobby Cohen is welcomed to the board of directors as Chairman of DayStar Technologies Inc.  Bobby Cohen has over 30 years of experience in operations and finance. Mr Cohen is the CEO of Revolution Investment that works with a diverse group of companies.  Mr. Cohen will be an asset, as he will bring an abundance of experience, contacts and guidance moving forward.

The current board of DayStar is excited to have earned the trust of Mr. Cohen and his group to work with DayStar.  It is; and will contintue to be our intention to ensure DayStar is poised for opportunity and success without outside influence and distractions.  We will continue to communicate with shareholders in a timely and prudent manner.
