ATHENS, GREECE--(Marketwired - Jun 3, 2014) - Tsakos Energy Navigation Ltd. ("TEN" or the "Company") (NYSE: TNP), a leading crude, product and LNG tanker operator, today announced that the Company concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at which all the resolutions proposed were approved by significantly more than the required shareholder votes.
In addition, the company announced today that Mr. Takis Arapoglou has been appointed by the Company as the Chairman of the Board, replacing Mr. John Stavropoulos, who had been the Chairman of the Board and a director since 1994, and had previously announced his retirement from the position following the 2014 Annual Meeting.

To date, TEN's fleet, including two modern suezmax crude tankers scheduled for delivery in the second and third quarter of this year, the LNG carrier Maria Energy and nine Aframax crude oil tankers under construction, consists of 60 double-hull vessels, a mix of crude tankers, product tankers and LNG carriers, totaling 6.2 million dwt.
