Public Sector Expert Joins Huron Consulting Group

HURN

Jamieson to Focus on Public Sector Innovation, Public-Private Partnerships and Operational Excellence

Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business consulting services, today announced that Jill L. Jamieson has joined the Company as a managing director within its Public Sector practice. Jamieson brings a global perspective and a proven track record in the arena of public-private partnerships (P3), further expanding the offerings of Huron’s Public Sector team.

“With public-private partnerships on the rise as cities and states address declining budgets, fiscal deficits and increased demands for services and enhanced infrastructure, we are pleased to bring a person of Jill’s caliber and experience to address the growing needs of our public sector clients,” said James H. Roth, chief executive officer and president, Huron Consulting Group. “She understands the complexity and challenges of successful P3 infrastructure and has applied this knowledge to create viable operating alternatives and solutions to resource-constrained agencies and organizations.”

At Huron, Jamieson’s experience will complement the Company’s existing cross-functional public sector expertise. She will advise clients on infrastructure financing, public-private partnering and enhanced operational efficiency, as well as contract governance and oversight. Huron’s Public Sector team works with city, state and international officials and private entities across industries – transportation, energy, utilities, education, healthcare and municipal works –to help create sustainable, cost effective and resource efficient operating solutions.

With more than 20 years of experience, Jamieson joins Huron from Deloitte Consulting, where she most recently led their domestic P3 Integrated Market Offering team. Prior to that, Jamieson founded Global Growth Partners, an independent consultancy firm, specializing in infrastructure finance and public-private partnerships with a focus on Latin American entities. Jamieson also sits on the Board of the U.S. National Council for Public-Private Partnerships and on the Advisory Board of the United Nations PPP Special Centre of Expertise.
