Radware's Attack Mitigation System to be Deployed at M1 Scrubbing Center

MAHWAH, N.J., June 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Radware® (Nasdaq:RDWR), a leading provider of application delivery and application security solutions for virtual and cloud data centers, announced that M1 Limited, a leading full-service provider of mobile and fixed communications services to over two-million customers in Singapore, has launched a next generation "clean-pipe" DDoS mitigation service based on Radware's award winning network and application security technologies.

Following a stringent comparison and testing process, M1 selected Radware's attack mitigation system (AMS) in order to provide clean-pipe services to customers who require services beyond the traditional offering of L4 mitigation only.

Radware's AMS is the industry's first fully integrated IT security solution that protects application infrastructure in real time. It helps protect infrastructure against network and application DDoS attacks, application vulnerability exploitation, malware spread, information theft, web service attacks and web defacement. It provides integrated application and network security as well as a security management tool that delivers multilayer security architecture.

"Working with Radware allows us to deliver superior security coverage that can help protect our customers from a wide array of online threats," said Mr. Willis Sim, Director, Product Development and Enterprise Services, M1.

M1 is Singapore's most dynamic communications company, providing mobile and fixed services to over 2 million customers. Established in 1997, M1 achieved many firsts, including the first operator to offer nationwide 4G service, as well as ultra high-speed fixed broadband, fixed voice and other services on the Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (NGNBN).

"DDoS attacks are becoming mainstream. Recent cyber attacks have been more complex, last longer and use more attack tools than in the past," said Mr. Ken Toh, ASEAN sales director, Radware, "Radware has always prided itself on its ability to properly address our customer's security challenges and help protect their business operations with top solutions."
