Hacker Group, a digital/direct marketing agency within the global FCB
network, announced today that it is expanding the agency’s global reach
by merging with three CRM specialized agencies of the FCB network in
Munich, Prague and Shanghai. The move includes a rebranding across all
four offices as HackerAgency,
which will report directly to Carter Murray, Worldwide CEO of FCB.
Hacker Group President and CEO, Spyro Kourtis, has been named President
and CEO of the new organization and Stephan Horvath, Global CMO of
HackerAgency. FCB and HackerAgency are part of the Interpublic Group
(NYSE: IPG).
While Seattle-based Hacker Group’s roots are in data-driven customer
acquisition, the agencies previously known as Draftfcb Munich in Munich,
Prague and Shanghai have a strong foundation in customer relationship
marketing. The new organization, which will remain headquartered in
Seattle, also launches the tagline “HackerAgency: Leads to Loyalty,”
derived from the agency’s best-in-class strengths, turning leads into
loyal customers.
Spyro Kourtis, HackerAgency CEO, stated, “We found a partner that does
what we do — and the chemistry was positive from the start.” He added,
“The organizational structures will remain basically the same. However,
we’re expanding capabilities and reach.”
“We’ve begun sharing ideas and clients, and we’re already pitching
global business together. We’re seeing great interest in our
results-focused, global capabilities,” said Stephan Horvath,
HackerAgency Global CMO.
HackerAgency has expanded its ability to create and manage
high-performance marketing programs across the world. Using the four
offices as hubs and continuing to partner with FCB’s strong global
network of 150 agencies, client workflow can progress 24/7 using a
“follow-the-sun” approach. This gives HackerAgency added speed and
nimbleness.
