MTV Releases Official Trailer for StarStream's "Life After Beth"

LGF.A, SSET

"Life After Beth," Starring Aubrey Plaza, John C. Reilly, Cheryl Hines, Molly Shannon, and Dane DeHaan, Debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January and Hits Theaters on August 15

LOS ANGELES, June 30, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- StarStream Entertainment (OTCQB:SSET) ("StarStream" or the "Company") exclusively released the official trailer for its motion picture, "Life After Beth," on MTV on June 26.

MTV's Kevin P. Sullivan states, "Sometimes when a pop culture trend seems played out, a movie comes along that pumps new life into it, and "Life After Beth" definitely brings more than just the zombie movie back to life." The official trailer, along with Sullivan's full commentary, is available at:

"Life after Beth," starring Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation) and Dane DeHaan (The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Chronicle), screened at Sundance in January, where it was chosen among 12,218 submissions for the U.S. Dramatic Competition. Variety stated, "'Life After Beth' is thoughtful and laugh-out loud funny. Given the current undead craze in pop culture, commercial prospects look lively – especially among young adults accustomed to playful genre romps."

"Life After Beth" is set to hit theaters on August 15, and also stars John C. Reilly (Step Brothers, Anchorman 2), Molly Shannon (Saturday Night Live, Evan Almighty, Shallow Hal), Paul Reiser (Mad About You), and Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm).

While "Life After Beth" falls under the zombie movie genre, a fast-growing multi-billion dollar segment of the movie industry, it is expected that the film will have appeal amongst a much wider demographic.

StarStream CEO Kim Leadford commented, "This is going to be an exciting summer for StarStream Entertainment as we roll out our feature film model with our two great projects, "Life After Beth" and "Life Of Crime". These two films epitomize our model. They have exceptional content, up and coming filmmakers, lean budgets, A-list talent, and major commercial viability. "Life of Crime," is our film adaptation of Elmore Leonard's "The Switch." The film is set to hit theaters less than two weeks after the release of "Life After Beth," on August 29. These two films will set the stage for success in 2014, while building shareholder value."

"Life After Beth" is being distributed domestically by A24, a New York-based finance and film distribution company backed by Guggenheim Partners. "Life of Crime" is being distributed by Lionsgate (NYSE:LGF)/Roadside Attractions.
