Lumber Liquidators Tanks On Weak Guidance

Lumber Liquidators (NYSE: LL) has been continuing the selling it saw all day today.  Currently, in after-hours trading, the stock is down 16 percent after cutting guidance. The news leaked into Home Depot (NYSE: HD) and Loews (NYSE: LOW) causing a sympathy play to the downside.  

Lumber Liquidators said FY2014 EPS would be $2.65 to $3.00 versus the $3.34 estimated.  As for sales, the company sees $1.05B to $1.10B versus $1.16B est.  For the second quarter of 2014 the company sees earnings between $0.59 and $0.61 versus $0.90 est.

As of 4:55PM EDT Lumber Liquidators has lost roughly 22 percent since the close on Tuesday.  Shares last traded at $58.20.
