CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW -- UTC Aerospace Systems received two 2014 In-Service Supplier Top Achievement Recognition (STAR) Awards from Bombardier Aerospace for excellence in providing support to Bombardier customers. UTC Aerospace Systems is a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
UTC Aerospace Systems received the 2014 In-Service STAR Award from the Canadian aircraft manufacturer based on the performance over the last year of the actuation systems that UTC produces for the Bombardier CRJ700* and CRJ900* aircraft programs; and the air management systems it supplies for Bombardier's Q400* aircraft program. This is the fourth consecutive year UTC Aerospace Systems has been recognized by Bombardier Aerospace for its outstanding customer service.
The teams were presented with the prestigious awards at Bombardier Aerospace's 2014 All Series Operators Conference and Trade Show in Orlando, Florida.

To be eligible for Bombardier's STAR awards, a supplier must have scored at least 90 percent in areas deemed most important by Bombardier Aerospace's customers, such as product performance, aircraft support and customer focus.
