CALGARY, July 31, 2014 /CNW/ - Canadian Pacific (TSX:CP)(NYSE:CP) and
the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference Rail Canada Traffic Controllers
(TCRC-RCTC) announced today that they have reached a tentative six-year
labour agreement covering approximately 135 employees rail traffic
controllers in Canada.
"I would like to congratulate this union for its leadership at the
bargaining table," said Peter Edwards, CP Vice President of Human
Resources and Labour Relations. "This agreement reflects our ability to
recognize the great work our rail traffic controllers are doing in this
period of transformational change."
Details of the tentative agreement are being withheld pending
ratification by the TCRC-RCTC membership.
