Citrix today announced strong growth and market momentum for its
enterprise mobility business, with nearly 100 percent revenue growth in
the first half of 2014. Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health
System (FMOLHS), San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, and a leading
bank in the U.S. are among the organizations that rely on XenMobile
enterprise mobility management (EMM) solution to empower their employees
with access to mobile apps and data on any device with full IT control
and security.
According to Gartner, mobile is among the top three CIO spending
priorities in 20141, and Citrix is seeing a trend that
organizations are increasingly taking a more strategic approach to
enterprise mobility. More than 80 percent of Citrix mobile platforms
sales are from customers opting for XenMobile Enterprise, the EMM
offering and a core component of a mobile workspace solution, versus the
standalone MDM product. Organizations are choosing XenMobile because it
offers the most comprehensive EMM solution to manage and secure mobile
apps, data and devices combined with the broadest set of business-class
productivity apps. Unique to XenMobile, these business-class mobile apps
are intelligently designed and integrated to provide intuitive
workflows, greatly improving end user experience when using multiple
enterprise mobile apps together. XenMobile also provides the most
complete and feature-rich enterprise file sync and sharing capabilities
through Citrix ShareFile.
Customers Hail Productivity Gains from Comprehensive EMM Solution
Organizations, from financial services to healthcare to government, are
ramping up their mobility initiatives and deploying EMM solutions at a
larger scale. Citrix recently completed the deployment of XenMobile for
Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, the largest health
system in Louisiana. FMOLHS relies on Citrix to streamline clinician
mobile workflows, reducing the time it takes for employees to access
their apps and data on mobile devices, while ensuring security and
patient privacy and assisting FMOLHS with its compliance with HIPAA
security rules. XenMobile enables FMOLHS to address device proliferation
and empower its doctors and nurses with Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD)
access, improving productivity and user satisfaction.
Meanwhile, San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the chief law
enforcement agency in San Diego County, is tapping the power of
XenMobile to provide mobile apps and data on government issued
smartphones and tablets to its mobile workers. The new workflow-driven
productivity apps have allowed San Diego County Sheriff’s Department to
create new mobile workflows that change how deputies in the field
perform daily tasks. For example, deputies can now use XenMobile
NetScaler Connector and WorxWeb to create reports with audio, photo and
video files during investigations, share the report securely on their
managed mobile devices, and then later, search for the report easily
with a few simple taps.
XenMobile also enables a leading bank in the U.S. to provide its
employees with business-class mobile apps for secure email, browser and
document sharing via ShareFile on an optimized network via NetScaler,
delivering a rich user experience while meeting stringent compliance and
regulatory requirements.
XenMobile 9.0 & New Productivity Apps Now Available
The new release of XenMobile, announced at Citrix Synergy, is the first
to bring the core elements of enterprise mobility together, including
stronger security, cross-platform app delivery and mobile productivity
apps, all in a unified platform. New business-class productivity apps -
WorxNotes, WorxEdit and WorxDesktop - will be available to XenMobile
customers in September 2014.
The latest release of XenMobile with new Worx mobile apps extends the
company’s leadership in mobile app, content and device management for
business-ready workspaces. XenMobile is a cornerstone of the Citrix
Workspace Suite, the industry’s most complete mobile workspace solution.
Only Vendor Named Leader in Mobile, Data and Networking
Citrix uniquely delivers the best MDM, MAM and the industry’s most
complete family of secure business-class mobile productivity apps via
XenMobile; the most feature rich enterprise file synchronization and
sharing (EFSS) capabilities through ShareFile; and the world’s most
advanced application delivery controller (ADC) for mobile through
NetScaler.
Citrix is the only vendor in the market to be named a leader in each of
the Gartner Magic Quadrants for Enterprise Mobility Management Suites2,
Enterprise File Synchronization and Sharing3, and Application
Delivery Controllers4.

Brian Dye, Group Vice President and General Manager, Mobile Platforms
group, Citrix
“We attribute the strong momentum of our mobility business to our
ability to deliver the most comprehensive EMM solution with the most
complete platform, largest ecosystem and broadest portfolio of
enterprise mobile apps. The key to success for our customers has been
less around which platform or device to support, but identifying mobile
use cases and creating streamlined workflows between apps, so users can
securely get to the data needed faster.”
