TriMas Corporation (NASDAQ: TRS) – a diversified global manufacturer of
engineered and applied products – today announced the appointment of Tom
Aepelbacher as president of the Aerospace & Defense segment at TriMas
Corporation. Aepelbacher, currently vice president of the global
services organization at TriMas Corporation, will continue reporting
directly to TriMas President and Chief Executive Officer Dave Wathen.
“With Tom’s experienced operational and leadership skills, he is well
positioned to lead one of our most important growth platforms into the

TriMas Corporation. “He is a seasoned operations leader with 30 years of
experience in manufacturing, supply chain and lean initiatives. We
expect Tom to contribute greatly to the continued success of the
Aerospace & Defense segment and supplement the existing management teams
in place.”
The Aerospace & Defense segment designs, develops and manufactures
precision engineered components to serve the aerospace and defense
markets, and is comprised of Monogram Aerospace Fasteners, Mac
Fasteners, Martinic Engineering, Inc. and NI Industries. With this
management addition, David Adler, an experienced aerospace executive
with extensive customer relationships and product knowledge, will now
focus on product development across the aerospace businesses and will
report to Aepelbacher.
Aepelbacher joined TriMas in 2003, and since March 2010, was vice
president of TriMas’ Global Services Organization. Aepelbacher served as
the vice president of operations at TriMas’ Cequent Performance Products
before his current role. Prior to TriMas, he worked as an operations
manager for General Motors-Powertrain, as well as the general manager
and vice president of operations for ATC, an aftermarket automotive
parts company.
Aepelbacher received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial
Manufacturing from Northern Michigan University.
