Epic Enters a Marketing and Sales Joint Venture, and Files a 15C2-11 to Trade Its Preferred Stock

AUSTIN, TX / ACCESSWIRE / September 2, 2014 / EPIC Corporation (OTCPINK: EPOR) ("EPIC"), and Ronald S. Tucker, EPIC's president, announced "EPIC has a joint venture agreement with Salem Sleep Systems of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to provide marketing and sales for the AcuFAB products. EPIC after the successful Exchange Offer has prepare and filed a 15c2-11 with a broker/dealer to obtain approval to trade its Preferred Stock."

"We have been searching for a joint venture partner or partners for 2 years. We wanted partners that could provide EPIC with the knowledge and experience to market and sale our AcuFAB products, and at the same time be entrepreneurs," said Mr. Tucker. "We realize to build a viable company we need to join with people that have the experience and knowledge of the market segments we plan to enter."

"We have been negotiating with Salem Sleep Systems for more than 1 year and are fortunate to develop a relationship resulting into a marketing and sales joint venture. The principals of that company are knowledgeable and experienced persons who about a year ago gave up retirement in start their new business. They are currently importing memory foam pillows from Switzerland that can be machine washed and dried. They also sell domestically and internationally proprietary portable wood bed frames, Within a little more than six months their business has produced purchase orders of approximately $3,000,000 in pillows and portable wood bed frames," further stated Mr. Tucker. "They will be integrating their pillows with our AcuFAB products. They are leading the way for our future growth."

The joint venture will be conducted through a North Carolina limited liability company on a 50-50 basis. Salem Sleep Systems will be providing the marketing and sales effort with support staff will be directed to suppliers and retailers and EPIC will be providing the AcuFAB products.
