Yesterday, Hilton
Worldwide (NYSE:HLT) was named the winner of 33 Travel Weekly
Magellan Awards across its portfolio of brands. Nine brands within the
Hilton Worldwide Portfolio took home awards honoring the best in travel
from design to marketing services to advertising. Fifteen of the Hilton
Worldwide award winners received Gold Magellan Awards, the highest award
given.

Honoring a broad range of industry segments including Hotels and
Resorts, Travel Destinations, Cruise Lines, Online Travel Services,
Airlines and Airports, Travel Agents and Agencies, Tour Operators and
Car Rental Companies, the Magellan Awards recognize the most exciting
and innovative work in the travel industry. Once submitted, the Travel
Weekly Magellan Awards are judged by a panel of top travel industry
professionals such as Peter Greenberg, CBS news travel editor; Bruce
Beckham, executive director/CEO of Tourism Cares; and Jean-Claude
Baumgarten, CEO of Crew Association and former CEO of the World Travel
and Tourism Council.
