VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sept. 17, 2014) - Otterburn Resources Corp. (the "Company" or "Otterburn") (TSX VENTURE:OBN) announces that it has changed its auditor from KPMG LLP (the "Former Auditor") to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (the "Successor Auditor").
At the request of the Company, the Former Auditor resigned as auditor of the Company and the board of directors of the Company appointed the Successor Auditor as the Company's auditor, effective September 12, 2014. There were no reservations in the Former Auditor's reports for the two most recently completed fiscal years or for any period subsequent to the most recently completed period for which an audit report was issued preceding the date of the Former Auditor's resignation and there were no reportable events between the Company and the Former Auditor.
The Company's audit committee and the board of directors have approved the resignation of the Former Auditor. Pursuant to National Instrument 51-102 Continuous Disclosure Obligations, the Notice of Change of Auditor, together with the letter from the Former Auditor and the letter from the Successor Auditor have been reviewed by the Company's audit committee and board of directors and will be filed on SEDAR accordingly.
