Schwab Advisor Services Announces Additional Keynote Speakers for IMPACT 2014

SCHW

Schwab Advisor Services announced today the final keynote speaker lineup for IMPACT® 2014, one of the nation’s largest and longest-running annual gatherings of independent registered investment advisors (RIAs). Schwab also announced that, for the first time in the conference’s history, Schwab will broadcast opening remarks by Bernie Clark, executive vice president and head of Schwab Advisor Services, live via webcast from the event in Denver, Colorado. Clark will share the latest industry trends along with updates about how Schwab is championing advisors and the industry. To view the live event, please register here.

In addition to previously announced former Federal Reserve Chairman Dr. Ben S. Bernanke, the IMPACT keynote lineup also includes educational and philanthropic trailblazer Charles Best, economist and author Dr. Dambisa Moyo, and Schwab’s Chief Investment Strategist Liz Ann Sonders.

This year’s conference will feature remarks from senior Schwab executives and includes more than 65 educational sessions from business and industry leaders covering product, technology, and practice management solutions for advisors. More than 1,400 exhibitors and sponsors as well as presenters, and local and regional vendors, will participate in The Exchange, the show exhibit hall.

Select keynote speakers will continue their discussions in a more intimate setting on the X-Stage, a smaller presentation stage within The Exchange, following their presentations. The latest technology innovations and investment best practices from Schwab and its affiliates on topics including online approvals, mobile applications, rebalancing, and more will also be featured on the Showcase Stages in The Exchange.

On Thursday, November 6, Schwab will announce the winners of this year’s IMPACT Awards given in recognition of RIA firms that have advanced the industry’s reputation for client service through leadership, innovative business practices and strategic growth. A new IMPACT Award, the Best in Retirement Business, also debuts at IMPACT recognizing a firm that has excelled in retirement planning services.

Returning for 2014, the IMPACT Mobile App will be available for download, allowing attendees to build and track their custom schedule, connect and network with other attendees, and provide show feedback.

IMPACT takes place Tuesday, November 4 through Friday, November 7 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. Nearly 1,900 independent advisors along with exhibitors, sponsors, industry influencers and employees attend for a total audience close to 5,000. Complete event details are available at impact.schwab.com. You can follow the conference on Twitter at @Schwab4RIAs using #SchwabIMPACT for additional updates and conference information.
