ProShares, a premier provider of alternative ETFs, announced the
appointment of Morgan Gold as managing director and head of marketing.
He will report to ProShares Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Michael
Sapir and serve on the company’s executive management team.

A financial services veteran with more than 15 years of experience, Gold
will oversee all aspects of marketing and communication activities at
ProShares. He will be based in the company’s Bethesda, MD headquarters.
Gold most recently served as vice president and head of global brand and
advertising at TIAA-CREF. He also oversaw the firm’s direct-to-consumer
marketing efforts. Previously, he was the director of brand strategy at
The Hartford Financial Services Group. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts
degree from Tufts University and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
