Skeena Completes Drill Program at Spectrum Gold Property, Northwest B.C.

T.SKE

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Oct. 29, 2014) - Skeena Resources Limited (TSX VENTURE:SKE) ("Skeena" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the completion of a diamond drill program of 9 holes totaling approximately 2,000 metres on its Spectrum Gold Project in northwest British Columbia (refer to Skeena news release dated Oct. 27, 2014). All of the holes, drilled from 4 separate platforms, were directed at investigating continuity to depth along the Central Zone Occurrence, by a series of intercepts averaging 50 metres beneath historic intersections. For property location, a plan map of the historic drilling on the Central Zone and schematic cross-sections of prior intercepts, the reader is referred to the most recent 43-101 Technical Report on the Company website and filed on SEDAR Sept. 5, 2014.

The program was augmented by limited prospecting, in-fill soil geochemical sampling and re-sampling mineralized intervals from the historic diamond drill core on site.

The drilling was supervised by Jacques Stacey, M.Sc., P.Geol. and Doug Cruickshank, M.Sc., P.Geol., both of Taiga Consultants Ltd. A rigorous chain-of-custody and QA/QC program, consisting of the insertion of certified standard control samples, duplicates and blanks was applied to the N thin-walled diameter, split half core samples. Sample preparation is being handled by an Acme Analytical Laboratories facility in Smithers, BC and the analyses by Acme Analytical in Vancouver, British Columbia. The final samples are currently en route to the assay laboratory and results will be reported upon compilation of all of the data, which is anticipated before the end of November.

The Qualified Person for the Company is Rupert Allan, P. Geol., Vice President, Exploration as defined in National Instrument 43-101.

ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
