Convenience in the kitchen is important. As the room where delicious
meals are crafted and dinner conversation is created, the kitchen is a
place where a helping hand is always needed. That’s why Pfister®
developed its Selia
and Pasadena Touch-Free Kitchen Faucets with REACT™ technology.

Pfister’s touch-free kitchen faucets were designed with simplicity in
mind. Thanks to proprietary REACT (Response Activated Technology),
you can turn water on or off by simply guiding your hand or an object
within the sensor range.
“Today’s homes are filled with smart technologies designed to make our
lives easier, but sometimes that technology can be overwhelming,” says
Darin Heuer, group marketing manager, Pfister Faucets. “Our touch-free
kitchen faucets offer technology with a purpose, allowing consumers to
conveniently and efficiently perform everyday tasks, such as doing
dishes or washing hands.”
REACT helps consumers keep a cleaner, healthier kitchen by minimizing
the spread of germs, fingerprints and water spots. Additionally,
Hibernate™ mode gives the user the option to disable the sensor during
faucet cleaning, and the SmartStop™ functionality automatically turns
off the faucet after two minutes to save water, giving consumers peace
of mind.
Enhancing the faucets’ flexibility, the Manual Override mode allows
consumers to operate the faucet with the handle, instead of the sensor,
at any moment, while the extended pull-down hose reaches every corner of
the sink.
Additional faucet features include:
-
AccuDock™ advanced spray-head docking system ensures a
tight connection to the faucet spout
-
EZ Clean™ nozzles on the spray face enable removal of mineral buildup
with a quick wipe, keeping Selia and Pasadena Touch-Free Kitchen
Faucets looking like new, longer
-
1- to 4-hole configuration allows installation versatility
Both the Selia and Pasadena faucets with REACT are powered by 6 AA
batteries. A plug-in option is sold separately.
“We have incorporated purposeful technology to make our products easier
to use, while offering consumers an affordable option,” says Brian
Schaadt, senior product manager, Pfister Faucets.
Selia Touch-Free Kitchen Faucet is available now at select Lowe’s
stores, and the Pasadena model is available now at select Home Depot
stores. Both models have an MSRP of $299. Additional REACT technology
faucets will be available through Pfister wholesale partners beginning
in April 2015.
