HELENA, Mont., Nov. 17, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Eagle Bancorp Montana, Inc. (Nasdaq:EBMT), the holding company for Opportunity Bank of Montana, today announced that Larry Williams will join its senior management team as SVP/Chief Lending Officer, effective immediately.

With over 17 years in banking, most recently as a chief credit officer, Larry brings many years of significant finance and loan experience with him. He will add depth to our already excellent management team," said Peter J. Johnson, President and CEO.
Formerly with Community Bank, Inc. in Missoula, Williams served as Vice President and Chief Credit Officer overseeing the lending division as well as central and branch operations. In addition, he led the successful integration of lending policies, practices, and cultures in two diverse markets following the consolidation of bank charters by the holding company.
Williams is currently the president of the Western Montana Chapter of Risk Management Associates where he has been a member for twelve years. He has volunteered as an annual United Way campaigner, Loan Executive, and Day of Caring volunteer for the past seven years, and served as Board Secretary/Treasurer/Finance and Audit Committee Member Chair for Child Care Resources for the past eight years.
Williams graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He is also a graduate from the Pacific Coast Banking School.
