AppliedMicro Announces the Availability of X-C1(TM) Development Kits Featuring X-Gene(TM), the World's First ARMv8 64-bit Server-on-a-Chip(R) Solution

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 18, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (Nasdaq:AMCC), also known as AppliedMicro, today announced the immediate availability of its X-C1™ Development Kits , low-cost, low-power development systems featuring the company's innovative X-Gene Server-on-a-Chip (SoC) solution. The systems come in two versions – Plus and Basic – and each provides a native ARM 64-bit environment for developers working on both mobile and server applications.
