Technology media company TechTarget, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTGT) today announced
that the Company’s extensive year-long redesign of its network of 120+
websites was named a finalist in the Online Website Redesign category at
the sixth annual Editorial & Design Awards held
November 19 in New York by min, a leading voice covering the
media industry for more than 60 years. Other national brands named as
finalists included Investment News and TIME.com. The
Editorial & Design Awards showcase media brands that are setting
industry standards for storytelling, news reporting and overall
editorial and design leadership.
“We are very proud to achieve this recognition from min,” said
Don Hawk, Executive Director of Product Innovation and Co-Founder,
TechTarget. “Our very successful network redesign efforts are reflective
of TechTarget’s unwavering commitment to provide the best experience
possible to the millions of technology buyers that visit our sites every
day,” continued Hawk.
TechTarget’s redesign was launched in partnership with creative agency
Code and Theory, whose publisher clients have included Vogue, Los
Angeles Times and Mashable. The new site design is 100%
buyer-driven, providing TechTarget users with faster access to strategic
IT purchase content, better integration of advertiser brands and a
responsive, mobile-optimized experience across all platforms. Featuring
editorial content navigation categorized by buy cycle phase and rich
on-page content guides, the new design has driven significant growth in
dwell time and content engagement across the TechTarget network. Among
other key indicators of success, early results show a 25% increase in
banner clicks, a 25% increase in multi-page view sessions, and a 50%
increase in users registering as members.
