by Hilton today announced the opening of DoubleTree
by Hilton Minneapolis North, a 13-story, suburban high-rise hotel
located in Brooklyn Center and surrounded by more than 500 acres of
parks and walking paths. Formerly the Minneapolis Boulevard Hotel,
DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis North debuts a $4 million
transformation that includes modern, stylish updates throughout the
property. At the helm of the freshly-renovated hotel is veteran hotelier
and Minnesota Native, Robert “Rosco” Larson, who has been appointed as
general manager, bringing with him an extensive knowledge of the Twin
Cities market. The hotel is owned by Boxer Resorts, Houston, Texas and
managed by Hilton Worldwide.
Nestled along the Mississippi River, the hotel’s peaceful suburban
setting offers a quiet respite from the bustle of downtown Minneapolis
yet is only ten minutes from the city center, making it an ideal
location for business and leisure guests alike. Guests will enjoy
convenient access to nearby businesses, including Medtronic, BAS
Systems, Cummings Power Generation and Boston Scientific, as well as
area attractions including Mall of America and the Walker Art Center.

174-room hotel offers all modern amenities, including WiFi, LCD HDTVs
and the inviting Sweet Dreams bed experience. A 24-hour fitness center,
24-hour business center and WiFi throughout the hotel’s public spaces
are all complimentary to guests.
The hotel offers dining options to suit any palate. Lombard’s is the
hotel’s American-themed restaurant offering a full-service bar and
serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Grants, the hotel’s intimate lobby
bar, offers a range of light bites and a diverse drink menu.
The hotel is also ideally-suited to accommodate varying types of
meetings, events and conventions with 10,000 square feet of flexible

which includes the meeting room, basic meeting WiFi, meeting room

Wednesday night stay. Based on availability, Gold and Diamond members
