Klick
Health was today recognized for having one of the World’s Top 10
Intranets by the Nielsen Norman Group (NN/g) for its proprietary Genome
enterprise operating system – joining a select group of companies to
have ever won an NN/g Top 10 Intranet award twice. In 2013, NN/g honored
Klick for the system it designed and built for Acorda Therapeutics.
Today’s win also occurs just six weeks after Genome received an M-Prize
from transformative management guru Gary Hamel and his Management
Innovation eXchange (MIX) organization.
“We can’t think of a better way to start off 2015 and are grateful to
the Nielsen Norman Group for this honor,” said Klick Health CEO Leerom
Segal. “Since we banned internal workflow email and replaced it with a
ticketing system more than a decade ago, Klick has been on quite a
journey. Kudos to our co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Aaron
Goldstein, our dedicated Genome team, and our over 400 employees who
have collectively helped make Genome a real game-changer that
distinguishes us from our competition and helps make Klick a truly great
place to work.”
“Moving beyond a traditional intranet, Genome is how Klick Health
employees get work done. Genome provides the solutions the data-driven
company needs to encourage efficient work and effective communication,
including a streamlined candidate-hiring tool, simple ways to recognize
employees for work well done, and an innovative method to encourage
philanthropic giving,” said usability expert Jakob Nielsen, principal of
Nielsen Norman Group.
Genome uses big data and social technologies to customize the employee
and recruiting experience, increase engagement, speed-up mastery of new
skills, and maximize a team's success. It was recently profiled in the New
York Times bestselling business book THE
DECODED COMPANY: Know Your Talent Better Than You Know
Your Customers (Portfolio/Penguin; February 2014), which reveals how
a growing number of industry-leading companies are decoding employee
work data in the same way that Facebook, Netflix, Spotify and other apps
decode customer data to personalize, simplify and enhance the user
experience.
Based on the overwhelming interest Klick has received in Genome, the
company will be spinning off Sensei
Labs to help companies evolve and execute faster using Genome
technologies and ideas from The Decoded Company. Sensei Labs will
initially focus on transforming pre-commercial and rapidly scaling
biotech companies into optimized commercial entities.
