(TSX VENTURE:MJN) ("PharmaCan") is pleased to announce that PharmaCan, led by PharmaCan's President & CEO, Paul Rosen, will open trading on Toronto Stock Exchange on January 13, 2015. PharmaCan, which has investments in 5 of the 23 Licensed Producers under Canada's Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations ("MMPR"), will be the first MMPR investment company in Canada to open trading of the Toronto Stock Exchange.

PharmaCan is a company in the business of investing in companies either licensed, or actively seeking a license, to produce medical marijuana pursuant to Canada's Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations ("MMPR"). PharmaCan has a diversified portfolio of investments including investments in 5 of the 23 companies licensed by Heath Canada to produce medical marijuana.
PharmaCan's first investee company, The Peace Naturals Project ("Peace Naturals"), was the first new producer to be granted a license by Health Canada for the commercial production and distribution of medical cannabis under the MMPR. PharmaCan also has a significant minority interest in Whistler Medical Marijuana Company ("WMMC"), Canada's first and only certified organic producer of medical marijuana. Both Peace Naturals and WMMC are licensed to produce and sell medical cannabis. PharmaCan also owns 100% of In The Zone Produce Ltd., a licensed producer based in the Okanagan Valley. ITZ is licensed by Health Canada under the MMPR to produce and sell medical cannabis. In addition, PharmaCan has minority investments in two companies licensed to produce medical marijuana under the MMPR, ABcann and Hydropothecary. PharmaCan's other investments are in companies that are in the license application stage.
PharmaCan's President & CEO is Paul Rosen, who previously founded and was CEO of Skypad Inc., a custom contract furniture manufacturing company. Paul is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and previously practiced criminal and constitutional law.
