ACI
Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading global provider of electronic
payment and banking solutions, today announced a strategic
partnership with LD Systems, an international provider of ATMs,
financial equipment and technology services. This partnership will
enable LD Systems’ clients to offer quick, easy and safe bill pay
options at kiosks across the United States.
LD Systems offers highly customizable kiosks with electronic payment
functionality for myriad options including: self-serve banking
transactions, utility payments, court fines & fees (civil, family,
criminal), property tax, toll tags, DMV motor vehicle tag renewals,
parking & traffic citations and more. The kiosks can also be configured
for ATM functionality with cash dispense capabilities.
By partnering with ACI, LD Systems’ clients will gain access to the
company’s integrated Electronic
Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) Services, which offer the
broadest options for delivering electronic bills and receiving
electronic bill payments, resulting in significant cost savings for
biller clients and considerable convenience for their customers. ACI’s electronic
bill payment services deliver choice of payment types (one-time,
recurring, fee-based), channels (web, mobile, IVR or call center) and
funding options (ACH or credit, debit or prepaid) to meet the needs of
every consumer segment.
“Many government municipalities and utilities lack the resources to
develop advanced bill pay solutions and recognize the significant value
of utilizing a full-service payment services provider,” said Cliff Dean,
CEO, LD Systems. “And as budget-minded government municipalities and
utilities across the country evaluate cost savings and efficiency
initiatives, LD Systems offers a cost-effective, multi-channel solution
for these organizations, thanks to ACI.”
“LD Systems adds another payment channel solution we can offer clients,
in particular, in the government and utility space. This is a unique
payment channel solution that further differentiates ACI in the bill pay
market,” said Eric Labiak, senior vice president, ACI Worldwide. “As
walk-up, in-person, over-the-counter payments continue to play a
significant role in the public sector, the LD Systems partnership brings
an added value service with customizable payment kiosk solutions capable
of taking credit, debit card and check payments, as well as future money
transfer capabilities.”
