SeeThruEquity Issues Update Note on COPsync Highlighting Importance of COPsync Network

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / January 21, 2015 / SeeThruEquity, a leading New York City based independent equity research and corporate access firm focused on smallcap and microcap public companies, today announced that it has issued a company note on COPsync, Inc. (OTCQB: COYN), a company that operates the largest law enforcement mobile data information system and interoperability network in the U.S. and sells a unique real-time threat alert system for schools and other at-risk facilities that connects facilities under threat to the nearest law enforcement patrol units and the local dispatch center in seconds.

The note is available here: COYN Company Note - January 2015. SeeThruEquity is an approved equity research contributor on Thomson First Call, CapitalIQ, FactSet, and Zack’s. The report will also be available on these platforms. We also contribute our estimates to Thomson Estimates, the leading estimates platform on Wall Street.

"COPsync was created to enhance officer safety, while making them more efficient on the job. The idea for the technology was created after an officer in Texas was killed on-duty in an incident that might have been prevented had he been equipped with better information while in the field. The tragic events of December 20, 2014, in New York City, when two NYPD officers were ambushed and killed in broad daylight, also potentially could have been prevented with COPsync technology. We live in an age where the digital transmission of information is happening all around us, all the time, in a rapidly increasing manner. New technologies are being utilized on a consistent basis in every industry to make workers more efficient, safer and more informed. COPsync has the ability to bring law enforcement into the 21st century from a technological standpoint, and the benefits are apparent," commented Ajay Tandon, CEO of SeeThruEquity. "We are maintaining our price target of $0.57 per share."

Highlights of note are as follows:

COPsync maximizes information sharing to fight crime

Here is the timeline of events that happened on December 20th, according to CBS News:
- 5:48 a.m., Baltimore County Police respond to a call that Ismaaiyl Brinsley shot and wounded his girlfriend.
- 1:30 p.m., Baltimore Police discover Brinsley Instagram posts threatening to kill New York officers. They determined that the posts were being made from Brooklyn.
- 2:30 p.m., Baltimore Police call NYPD’s 70th precinct. They advise NYPD that Brinsley’s cell phone (and presumably Brinsley) were in the precinct.
- 2:45 p.m., Baltimore Police send wanted poster to NYPD by fax.
- 2:47 p.m., approximate time of shootings.

How could these events been different with COPsync? First, any officer in Baltimore could have created an officer safety alert broadcast to the entire COPsync network. This alert would contain all known information about the suspect, including photo identification and past and potential current or future locations. The system would create and publish a "WANTED poster" type alert that every patrol car on the network could see within seconds. In this case, NYPD officers would have had information on Brinsley within minutes of Baltimore PD discovering his Instagram post.

According to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, in 2014, 15 police officers were ambushed nationwide, matching 2012 as the highest total since 1995.

About COPsync, Inc.

COPsync, Inc. operates the largest law enforcement mobile data information system and interoperability network in the U.S. The COPsync Network enables officers to report and share actionable, mission-critical data and communicate in real-time and collect for outstanding misdemeanor warrants in real-time at the point of incident. Officers are also able to obtain instant access to local, state and federal law enforcement databases. The Network's companion COPsync911 system enables campuses, government buildings, energy, telecommunications and other potentially at-risk facilities to automatically and silently send threat alerts directly to local law enforcement officers in their patrol cars and local dispatch in the event of crisis, thereby protecting schools, school children and others. The COPsync Network also eliminates manual processes and increases officer productivity by enabling officers to electronically write tickets, accident reports, DUI forms, arrest forms and incident and offense reports. The COPsync Network saves lives, reduces unsolved crimes and assists in apprehending criminals and interdicting criminal behavior -- through such features as a nationwide officer safety alert system, GPS/auto vehicle location and distance-based alerts for crimes in progress, such as school crisis situations, child abductions, bank robberies and police pursuits. The company also sells VidTac(R), an in-vehicle, software-driven video system for law enforcement.
